I am assuming that you wanted to fight the ticket but missed your scheduled court date?
If so, you can attend court and file a re-opening if you were unable to attend through no fault of your own. You must do this right away before paying the fine. If you pay the fine, then your only option is an Appeal. BUT, be warned that if you do not file a re-opening and do not pay the fine by the due date, your license will be suspended…there is a very short limitation period.
