Inquiry:  Nov. 13 I was convicted for a second time for driving while under suspension and no isurance, I received a fine for both charges, and just found out today that my license is currently suspended for 6 months. Is there any way to get my license re-instated before the 6 months is up, as I need my vehicle to get to and from work, also to pick up and drop off my children with their father who lives 2 hours away.

Response:  A conviction for Drive Under Suspension carries a mandatory 6 month suspension of licence.   I believe that the MTO has a review panel, but that is beyond our area of knowledge and you would need to specifically inquire with the MTO about any possible options.  With two convictions for DRIVE UNDER SUSPENSION, you need to be very careful not to drive again while under suspension as a third offence will generally result in jail time.
