You cannot be criminally charged unless the suspension was as a result of a criminal conviction. You can however be charged under the Highway Traffic Act, but they would have to be able to prove the case against you. Hard to imagine how that would happen unless you share the information. Don’t share it – and don’t drive anymore until you get your license back.

Inquiry I found out I had a suspension by getting a letter in the mail two weeks
after I was suspended. I drove my car to my home once since that time (I
was sick and that’s why it was suspended). I was never pulled over. If the
police find out that I had driven at that time even though I have not
driven since, can I still be criminally charged, despite my not knowing at
the time and despite not being caught?
