Inquiry Looking for legal consultation and possible representation (if need be).
I was involved in an automotive collision with a pedestrian. I contend
that he was jaywalking. The police responded and took my statement. I was
released. It has been 6 days, and I have not been issued a ticket or
citation. The police has not provided a police report, nor have they
contacted me in anyway. Damage to my vehicle appears to be minimal in my
assessment (less than the deductible).
I would like advice on whether I
should contact the police and follow up on details? Also should I contact
my insurance and report the incident (I have a clean driving record, and
would like to not have my premiums increase)
