Inquiry: My wife just bought a new car. The dealership went to sort out the transfer and had to pay $329 for parking fines on a license plate that was apparently in her name on a car that was sold 9 years ago. It appears our daughter got parking tickets on that car about 10 years ago and the car must have been in my wifes name. Why weren’t we aware of these tickets for a decade? and meanwhile my wife has obviously renewed her license multiple times since then with no notice of a problem? Is this legal?
Response: Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with parking tickets.
