Inquiry:  Hello I have unpaid traffic tickets and I have to leave Canada to so see my sick father inlaw will this effect my travel with flying in or out of Canada?

Response:   Unfortunately border and customs law is outside of our area of practice.  Depending upon how long your fines have been unpaid, it is possible that your Driver’s Licence has been suspended for unpaid fines.  Should you be stopped while driving on a suspended licence, you would be facing penalties including a maximum total-payable fine of $6,250.00, a mandatory further 6 month suspension of licence, and up to 6 months jail.
