Inquiry: what exactly happens when you meet with the prosecutor and what do they ask for you to bring
Response: Unfortunately, for liability reasons, we can not direct Defendants what to do on their own at Court. However, general knowledge on the court process is that the defence and prosecution appear at court to present their arguments as to the guilt or innocence of the Defendant. The merits of those arguments and the evidence presented are evaluated in determining whether the Defendant is guilty of the charge issued against them. Some matters are resolved at a trial, others may be resolved through negotiated pleas to lesser charges or penalties. If you would like to discuss your case with one of our staff, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
