Inquiry: It’s my first time getting a ticket, and missing a court on Red Light Camera Ticket, and I don’t know what to do next:  Pleas let me know what I should be doing now? What is best way to handle this kind of to situtation, and what to do next.  please advise…

Response:  You have likely been convicted.  You can speak with a Court Clerk to confirm what occurred when you missed your court date.  Red light camera charges do not go onto your driving history and do not carry demerit points.  You will however likely have a fine issued to you and a fixed number of days to pay it.  If you feel that you have a legitimate defence against the charge, you may be able to file a reopening or an appeal.
