Inquiry:   I recently stopped at a red light and, being preoccupied, edged about 1.5 meters into an intersection with a red light. Once I realized this I quickly reversed back before the line I know there is a red light camera at that intersection and I was wondering if I would receive a ticket for what I did.  thank you

Response:  Possibly.  You should know within the next few weeks if a letter arrives in your mail.  Red light charges issued by a camera simply carry a fine, once that fine has been paid the charge simply goes away without touching your driving history.
