Inquiry: I received a speeding ticket today for going 89km in a 60 zone ($172). Tomorrow, I am moving to Indonesia and most likely won’t be back in Canada for at least two years (just to visit – I have no intention of living here again).
What are the ramifications of not paying this ticket today? Will I be able to renew my license in two years time?

Issues that you may wish to inquire about would be suspension of your licence for non-payment of fine, permanent record of suspension on your driving history, amount of interest likely to accrue, future reinstatement of licence costs due to suspension, and likely impact on your insurance rate due to record of licence suspension.
