Inquiry:  I got a red light ticket. Is it better to talk to prosecutor to have the fine reduced to better to go to court directly and ask judge during trial to reduce the fine? I was reading somewhere that court clerk can reduce fine too- is that true?

Response:  We do not instruct Defendants of what to do on their own.  However, if you would like to contest the Red Light charge (3 demerit points), we can look at having the charge reduced to a lesser 0 demerit point offence or if possible see if there is a grounds to have the charge dropped.  If you would like us to review your case, we offer a no-cost initial review via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
