Inquiry: I received a ticket today for doing 142 in a 100 on hwy 11 southbound. The police officer made a mistake writing up my licence plate number, does this help me in any way shape or form?
Response: Unfortuantely the error is not a fatal error for the charge. The rate of speed also unfortunately puts you in the second-highest category of speeding offence with the next higher offence generally being a STUNT DRIVING charge. It is possible that we may be able to lower the charge down to the next lower offence category, and there may exist an alternate grounds to have the charge eliminated completely. If you would like to discuss your case in more detail, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
