Inquiry: Hi, I received a Red Light Camera System Offence. At the time the offence happened it was raining heavily and it around 9:22 pm. I was gonna go in to court and argue that visibility was very poor and I was unable to spot the white line. Financially I am unable to pay this huge fine, since I am a student and therefore unemployed. I also have an impeccable driving record. Are any of these valid arguements? Should I just pay the fine?

Response:  The camera-based charges do not carry demerit point penalties.  You may be able to speak with a Court clerk about reducing the size of the fine given your ability to pay.  I hope this helps!
